Program – Too Smart by Half

Nice enough people making bad decisions while believing that the inevitable consequences won't apply to them.
Danny Boyle's first feature, "Shallow Grave", was also the first movie for Ewan McGregor. It's a clever and spooky thriller.






The characters in "Suicide Kings" are more engaging than the three roommates in "Shallow Grave". But, they are clearly over their heads when they decide to kidnap Christopher Walken's character before they think their plan through very well. It's another Walken tour de force, where he carries the movie while bound to a chair.
