Maybe it is what we bring to him, but the hangdog, morose Bill Murray is even more winning than the quick, wiseacre Bill Murray.Wes Anderson's second movie, "Rushmore" is based in part on his high school. Murray and Jason Schwartzman are clever foils for one another.
In "Broken Flowers", we get another Jim Jarmusch road movie, but less deadpan than some of his others. Bill Murray doesn't ask for any sympathy for his character, but somehow he earned it anyway.
