Not for the faint of heart... an impromptu double feature curated by circumstance and consensus. We like violent films. First we watched White Dog. The images and dialog form an unrelenting barrage of heavy symbols. I loved it. I love cheeze when its backed up by so many ideas and ethical questions. Zero boredom during the first act. The racist attack dog is totally real; we only wish it was fiction.
We also wish Henry Lee Lucas was a fictional creation. Henry is a perverse romp through a world without reverence for human life. Movies have taught us something very important about insanity: after your first murder the aversion decreases exponentially. Spooky! "Psycho" by the Sonics really makes it.
