Inglourious Basterds

Over-the-top violence and too many plots make it less than perfect. Of course you could say the same thing about "Kill Bill" or "Pulp Fiction". A couple of scenes are breathtaking in their audacity and Tarantino's ability to pull it off.

There's a thing about his movies: when I'm watching them the first time, my mind tends to wander during the endless movie homages and stylized acting. Later on, I realize how much I loved the other parts of the movie. Watch it twice; it's a great movie, better than the first time.
