This started as a DVD queue list for a friend.
It grew and grew and took on a life of its own. Oh well.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
The screenwriter of "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" also wrote "Forrest Gump". The two movies share the same easygoing pace, amiable main characters, and, in spite of a number of action sequences, a passive quality. "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" is intelligent and well-crafted, but it is neither smart nor clever. And that's why it's good.
This is where we suggest DVDs that we have seen and liked or that friends /family may have missed. We try not to review them so much as give an impression, as if we were talking about the movie. Essentially, "You gotta watch this one." Programs are two DVDs that watched back-to-back seem to have greater resonance than watching them one at a time.
