Wonderful movies about mothers who are people as well.


I missed this over the years and finally caught up. What a great movie: moving, unexpected. The two principal actors make their characters believable and heartbreaking. Laura Linney's portrayal of the mom is funny and sad and alive.






"Finding Neverland" is Johnny Depp's movie, but one reason it works because Kate Winslet finds the right way to play Mrs. Davies.
