Program – Brothers

You could do a lot worse than spend your time watching these two movies. Both are warm looks at sibling rivalry and at great hopes based upon great needs.
Wes Anderson's "The Darjeeling Limited" is another shaggy dog story -- this time about three brothers on their own spiritual journey. Their conflicts seem to mean more to them than to us, but that's a strength in this movie.

"Big Night" with Stanley Tucci and Tony Shaloub is one of those charming ensemble pieces. Two people who love and respect one another, who are respectful and pleasant with one another end up having to work through life-long and contemporary conflicts with one another.
