Lots of movies deal with the idea that to be successful in a competitive business world, you have to give up some of your integrity. Two takes with good acting.
Stockard Channing and Julia Stiles provide intensity and energy to what could have been a filmed stage play in “The Business of Strangers”. It begins as a straight ahead examination of what it’s like to get older and live out of a suitcase for your company. It gets weirder.

“Boiler Room” gave us Vin Diesel and Giovanni Ribisi early in their careers. It’s more melodramatic, but with flashes of humor and homages to “Wall Street” and “Glengarry Glen Ross.”
