"Dead Ringers": Skeleton Warrior played in front of an excerpt from this movie about a month ago. The images may have implanted a new and terrible fear of gynecology in the gentle minds of some of our sweeter audience members. Aside from the horror aspect, this movie also has creepy sexual content and fantastic cinematography and special effects. You do not have to be a creep to like this movie, but it might make you feel like one. I guess this movie is about the twin(s) described in the title, but as time passes I do not ponder the obsessive characters, just their amazing handiwork.

"A Zed and two Noughts": This movie came out in 1985, and David Cronenberg seems to have been inspired by it. But Peter Greenaway's movie about twin zoologists has slightly more palatable freaks and it says right there on the digital video disk that the genre is "Black Comedy". I guess that makes it family friendly, if your family contains no one under 17. Obsessions and conspiracies rule the Zoo and its human inhabitants. The two noughts, Oswald and Olivier, try to understand life and death by studying moving pictures, and succeed by some definitions.

I do not want to see Dead Ringer. Carol
So do we need to watch "Twin Falls Idaho" in order to emerge from this double feature with our faith in humanity intact?
